Changing the information landscape
With a Freedom of Information Act, we can know how a government decision was made, but it still does not give us any way to correct its behaviour. Or does it? Full essay.

Most of your article is speculation on how the Government might react.
The best way to find out is for Alfian to file a complaint with MOM's Labour Relations Department, and document it in detail. If you're in contact with him, why not suggest this to him?
Thanks for the mention Alex. Anyway I believe such an act was enacted in English Law because the English Law does provide safeguards to the individual. Unforunately because Singapore believes in suborning the rights of the individual in the name of society, then such an act will not be passed till such time as society changes.
